Just a small glimpse of the event on the day,
we look forward to seeing you all again next year!
Contraband & Scotch Mist Ceilidh Band.
A HUGE thank you to everyone who came along to Prom on the Farm in the fields of Solley’s Ice Cream Parlour yesterday.
It was a glorious day which raised over £14,000 towards transforming the lives of the guys we support. Which is an incredible amount!
Special thanks to Solley’s Ice Cream for their continued support and for allowing us to hold the event on their farm. If that wasn’t generous enough they also donated a percentage of all their ice cream sales on the day. Martha are extremely lucky to have friends like Solley’s.
Thank you to our dedicated band of volunteers who gave up their time and worked tirelessly for us all day, without you all we simply couldn’t hold an event on this scale. And to Marc-One Security who made sure the event ran safely.
To all the musicians who gave their time for Martha – Tom Abrahams, Lofty Harris, The Kingsdown Band, Gypskazz, Andy Lawrance, Contraband and Your Shout! And to White Cliffs Radio who supplied the sound system and PA for the day. To Sarah Banks-Entertainer for compère and Kevin at Sandwich Auction We are incredibly grateful to you all.
Thank you to our friends Discovery Park, Redfortress Ltd and Girlings Solicitors for sponsoring the day. And to Barclays for match funding their staff who volunteered on the day.
Thank you to our vendors who kindly donated a percentage of their takings to Martha. GinSane, Pretty Bubbles Horsebox Bar, Lillyroo’s, Moveable Feast Cafe, Reggae Shack, Dough Dough Wood Fired Pizza, and Seaside Event Hire. And to Plough Inn Ripple for providing the hog roast and BBQ.
Thank you to Lizzie Chittenden for organising the children’s entertainment and to Make-Upps by Suzanna for the Facepainting and to Hannah Gunton for the Twinkle Hair and Henna.
We look forward to seeing everyone again next year! Date for your diary 30th June 2019, Prom on the Farm round 2!
